Bringing Mercy home

Mercy is coming home. We can't share her just yet, but this is a glimpse of the first photo we saw of our little girl. Lord willing, we will be posting pictures on Monday of her in our arms.

Our bags are stacked by the door, including a backpack that my Grandpap wore hiking mountaintops and the red suitcases that still bear the stickers of Ethiopian Airlines. We are breathing deeply of sunshine on cherry blossoms as we prepare to spend the next two weeks surrounded by concrete and skyscrapers in China. And we are holding our children closer today, counting God's most precious gifts to us...

I can't wait to follow along on your journey through your blog!! I remember how diligent you were about it during our trip in Ethiopia, so I am anxious to live through your lens in China.
