Injustice

I have a friend who is an artist. She sees beauty everywhere, seeks truth in all things, and she paints and sketches...when she isn't teaching her 6 year old and 4 year old to do the same, with a toddler on her lap. She is a mama with full hands, a busy schedule...a broken heart. She just returned from a trip to Cambodia and Thailand, working with women and children rescued from sexual exploitation and slavery. Will you watch the video on her blog and read her post on what you can do to put Advent into action? There are more slaves today than at any other point in human history, but we serve a God that calls us -- you and me -- to "loose the chains of injustice." (Isaiah 58:6)

Will you?

Any chance you are coming to the Justice Conference in Portland in February? Seems like something you might appreciate. I know there will be a few speakers discussing s*x trafficking and slavery. http://thejusticeconference.com/
