The countdown to April is on, and our "milk for orphans" bowl is overflowing with coins and crumpled bills and checks from family, friends, and adoptive parents thankful for a way to give back to the country of Ethiopia. I am overwhelmed, yet again, by the generosity of these dear souls in my life. These bills arrived last week from a friend across the country, the origami cows making all of us smile.

The boys are counting this morning, stacking and sorting and delighting as the numbers grow... How many kids will have milk now, mama? We are attempting to raise $1,800 for milk cows to provide for an orphange in Ethiopia, and according to the boys' careful calculations, we are now at $1,338.11. Our hearts are to join us?
