8 months old...

These markings of time for my adopted children are bitter and sweet. As we delight in Moses and note his milestones today, someone else in Ethiopia has probably marked these days as well... And so I ache, not just with joy, as I hold this dear boy close. I thank God for this gift that I hold in my arms but share in my heart.

It is bitter and sweet. And I think it will always be. Such a sweet boy. Looks like he's working on some teeth. His dearest B is also working on some teeth...wish they were closer so they could chat.

The pictures are great. It has been too long since we have seen and held him.
Hugs and kisses to all of you.

Yes, this is just how I was recently feeling thinking about Addie turning 6 mos. old and starting to have firsts, like rolling over. So much that her birth family is missing and I feel so blessed to be the one that gets to experience so many sweet moments. The pictures of Moses are beautiful, those eyes always get me. Love to you all.
