Visa Day

There is a sweet babe waking in my room…such a contented little guy. Our Moses seems to be eating and sleeping like a champ. Although he has been slow to give many smiles, his sweet snuggles send us over the moon.  We gave him a bath last night and delighted in his soft, chocolaty rolls. He now smells like coconut oil and Baby Magic, and he really is delicious!

We leave in a couple of hours for our visa appointment, and we are looking forward to having that behind us. The days ahead will have us holed up here at the hotel, except for one other trip. We will be headed to the Leprosy Hospital on Wednesday for an organized shopping trip, and we look forward to bringing home some treasures home for Moses.

We still cannot access the blog (except to post via e-mail), and it is difficult to get photos online. However, even as I have wanted to write in more detail about our time in Durame and experiences here, I am still processing much of what we experienced, and words continue to fail me. I don’t know that we can continue to live as we did in America, having seen and heard what we have here. Even as I write this, I can hear babies crying next door at the orphanage…

Can't wait to see the pictures but completely understand how difficult it is sometimes! Blessings as you finish your journey in ET and start it at "home"!

Moses, it is good you are a cautious little fellow, but you are going to fall crazy in love with your mommy and daddy before you know it; and we'll bet there will be lots of smiles when you meet M, M and M :o) :o) :o)
Love you,
