Amazing. I watched with my 6 year old daughter who said, "I'm so glad we do not have to live there." I think even as adults we have no idea. You guys are amazing. Thank you for sharing.

Lord willing, you are making us aware. It hurts to remember Ethiopia, to know there are 147 million orphans, to know our food would feed them. We must do something. How can we remain comfortable when people are drinking out of mud puddles?

So well done. Tears for Ethiopia and how it has changed us all. You've challenged me, throughout the trip and now, to be a different and better person because we were there. Love you to....miss you!

Probably shouldn't have watched that when I'm as emotional as I have been!

Blessings to you.

We just watched your video twice. We are very proud of all your accomplishments. Thanks for providing the video so we could share some of Ethiopia with you.
Words can't express how happy we are that the three of you are home.
Our love,
Grandma and Grandpap

Oh goodness....what a small, small world! I was updating myself on my friend, Shannon and her cousin, The Fries Family blogs and I saw your blog on her sight with the latest entry of 'Remembering Ethiopia' ... my oldest, and dearest friend had your video posted on her own blog - Sarah and Mark? I BELIEVE that they traveled with you or at least at the same time? They just arrived home with Bereket?? How crazy what a amazingly small world this really is! Congratulations to your family - we LOVED your video. We watched it as a family and for my oldest two children, 8 & 9 it was especially eye-opening for them. What a poignant, beautiful and heart-breaking way to put into words and photos some things that I try to share with them as a parent every day. Sometimes it takes something more powerful than just their old mom's word's. :) Loved it. God Bless!
