A give-away!

I have recently been introduced to the Fruit line of baby goods, lovingly crafted by a mama desiring to use her skills to be able to stay home with her little ones. Laura Walker is a talented seamstress, and the fun bibs and blankets pictured below are just some of the functional and darling items available on her website here.

Graciously, Laura has offered to give away one of her newest items, the diaper clutch pictured below, to a reader of this blog. My request? Visit her site and drop a comment on this blog (remember to include your name) about an item you viewed there. On May 2nd, the winner will be randomly selected. Enjoy browsing Fruit, and I extend my thanks to those of you encouraging this mama in her brave business venture!

LOVE the nursing covers! Such a clever idea. I put her site on my favorites, so the next baby shower I go to, it will be easy to get a unique gift!

What great fabrics! Where was the diaper clutch when I was a young mom? What a terrific design. Blessing to you Laura and your business.

These are beautiful things. Is this where you were heading for your sewing afternoon? Don't let me win the gift though as shipping costs to the UK will be too much!
Looking forward to catching up with you soon. Maybe my afternoon/ your early morning....
Love you lots

I might just have to adopt a baby again just so I can buy this stuff! LOL! I don't need to be entered in the drawing since I don't have a wee one but I wanted to say I love the ethnic possibilities for adoptive parents--the Chinese and African prints especially. As a seamstress myself I want to encourage others that the price is VERY reasonable and the soft velour type backing will make her blankets a favorite of babies.
Good luck to the Fruit entrepeneur! Hope to see you at one of the picnics this summer R.

I saw her site a few days ago and LOVED her stuff. Now I've been racking my brain as to a baby mama I could give something to because I loved it so much. Or....maybe I should just get another of baby for myself.... ;)
