Shorn

Just heard from my folks that Monte B. "fixed" Malcolm's hair this morning. Turns out, it involved scissors, and Malcolm's gorgeous "cornsilk" (referenced in a post a couple of days ago) is now "corn stubble," my mom wrote. Mom ended up having to buzz him, so it looks like we now have two shorn kiddos! Will eventually have to post photos of MyLinh and Malcolm's matching do's!

Still no open flights, so we are heading to bed, not sure of what tomorrow brings.

Riann and Alex,
I think those hair cuts go with a child who either has friends or sibblings. It's just the reality of childhood. I would say though, there is a blessing in it, Malcom does still have his eyes. And that gorgeous cornsilk hair will grow back.
It's been a long day yesterday, then Micah and I stayed up until 2:30 watching a movie, so I think I'll sneak back off to bed now that I have had my blogging for the morning.
Love,
Auntie Melody

Ri,
I just love hearing about your trip. I haven't logged on for a few days, and am glad to hear that Mylinh is adjusting even better. Sorry about Malcom's hair. Haley tried cutting her hair not that long ago. I will have to watch that she does not try that with her brother. Hope that a flight opens up soon, and we will be glad to see your family all together. See you soon. Oh, by the way. Christina had her baby yesterday. they named him Arthur Auto. The kids and I went to see them at the hospital yesterday. It is such a reminder that we need to cherish every minute God gives us with our little ones, because they grow up so fast. Kyle looks like a monster when compaired to the new little one. He is really smiling now, and talks all of the time. See you all soon. Love, Jammie

Hang in there.

"Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
wisdom and power are His.
He changes times and seasons;
He sets up kings and deposes them.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning.
He reveals deep and hidden things;
He knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him.
I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers-" Daniel 2:20-23

I know you know, but He IS in charge of the airlines and the embassies and all communication.
I wish HE wouldn't let it take so long. But He does know....
Take heart.
humbly your friend

Welcome home.
We are very happy you are home with your beautiful family. We keep looking at the clock, and wondering if the boys are home yet.
As anxious as we are to see all of you, we will wait until you get rested.
I keep checking your blog and your Grandpa asks if there is any news yet.
we love all of you.
